Alma Pearl (Ray) Sills
January 12, 1931 — July 11, 2017
Alma Pearl Sills, 86, of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Southgate Nursing and Rehab in Metropolis.
Mrs. Sills was a retired office clerk from Paducah Dry Goods and a member of Broadway Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting, watching birds, and UK Basketball.
Surviving are her daughter, Beverly “Cookie” Sills Adams of Paducah; one brothers, Freddie W. Ray of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Sarah Fabian of Aurora, IL and David Adams of Paducah; five great-grandchildren, Autumn Douglas, Hayley Douglas, and Lincoln Fabian all of Aurora, IL, and Makenzie Adams and Vanessa Adams both of Paducah.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Floyd Sills Jr.; two sons, Charles Ray Sills and Floyd Lee Sills; two brothers, Eddie Ray and Gene Ray; and one sister, Martha Sue Ray. Her parents were Will Ray and Zera Ray.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Owen officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
