Barbara Vernell Heater age 79,of Grand Rivers KY., passed away at 11:50 AM Monday, September 4, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 61 years Carl (Shine) Heater of Grand Rivers, Kentucky; one son Carl R. Heater Jr., daughter-in law Tammee Heater, and two granddaughters Blair Heater and Brook Heater of Madison AL; and one sibling Jerry Birdsong of Paducah KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Vernice Birdsong, and brother, Donald Ray Birdsong.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday Sept 8th 2017 at Grand Rivers United Methodist Church, Grand Rivers, KY. Funeral services to follow at 1:00 p.m. Friday, Sept 8th, 2017 at Grand Rivers United Methodist Church in Grand Rivers, KY. With the Rev. Brian Small officiating. Internment to will follow at Dixon Cemetery in the Grand Rivers, KY. Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
