Charles M. Simpson

Charles M. Simpson, 84, of West Paducah, died Tuesday morning, February 28th, 2017 at his home. Charles was a retired co-owner of Chief Paduke Antiques of Paducah. He was past president of the Concord Lions Club, a board member of Four Rivers Behavioral Health Board and The Human Rights Commission. Charles also was an active member of the Free Spirit Motorcycle Ministry.

Charles is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn; daughter, Valerie Thomas of Columbia, KY.; son Charles “Vic” Simpson of  Paducah; daughter, Hannah Simpson of Paducah; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Bessie Johnson Simpson; infant son, Kris Simpson; and sister, Ruby Malone.

Friends may visit the family on Thursday, March 2nd, 2017 from 5pm until 8pm at Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah. Funeral services will be on Friday, March 3rd, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home starting at 10am with Rev. Dennis Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to The Free Spirit Motorcycle Ministry Building Fund.
