Danny Lee Taylor

Danny Lee Taylor, 79, of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Mr. Taylor was a retired fire fighter from the City of Paducah. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed working on computers, singing, and riding motorcycles.

Surviving are three sons, David Taylor of Paducah, Jeffery (Patricia) Taylor of Rosiclare, IL and Dale Grimm of Paducah; one daughter, Cynthia Gayle Taylor of Paducah; three stepchildren, Chris Love of Metropolis, Derek Gipson of Paducah, and Crystal Gipson of Paducah; one sister, Diana Caneer of Paducah; six grandchildren, Krista Anderson of Price, UT, Samantha Marie Elliott of Benton, Jacob Taylor of Paducah, Josh Taylor of Mayfield, Victoria Ann Taylor of Bowling Green, and Jade Elise Taylor of Paducah; three step-grandchildren, Jessica Wilmoth of South Haven, Mississippi, David Collins of Frankfort, and Kimberley O’Neal of Murray; and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Lee Taylor. His parents were Robert Ira Taylor and Mary Katherine Taylor.

Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Revs. James Downey and Wayne Hicks officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit the family from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the funeral home.
