Donald Simmons, 83, of Melber, died Saturday, July 8th, 2017 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Donald worked for Basin News and ICRR. He was well known for his genealogical reference books.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Charlette Brown Simmons; one son, Roger A. Simmons; one sister, Pat Winfrey of Graves Co.; and one brother, Jack Simmons of Mayfield.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie and Hilda B. Cosby Simmons; and one son, Ricky Don Simmons.
Per Donald’s wishes, there will be no services after cremation. Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
