Bro. Donnie McElmurry, 75, of Paducah passed on Friday, October 21, 2016 at his residence with his family by his side.
Mr. McElmurry was retired from H.T. Hackney and was the pastor of Southside Baptist Church in Paducah.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Rubye Jean McElmurry of Paducah; one son, Shane (Sherry) McElmurry of Benton; five grandchildren, Tanner McElmurry of Paducah; Cameron McElmurry, Josiah McElmurry, Madison Stallons, and Joshua Stallons all of Benton; and one brother, Norris McElmurry of Burna.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Curtis McElmurry; and one sister, Dorothy Thompson. His parents were Coy Ray McElmurry and Lela Ann McElmurry-Lay.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Monday, October 24, 2016 at the Southside Baptist Church in Paducah with Bro. Harold Draper officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Sunday at Lindsey Funeral Home and from 11:00am to service hour on Monday at the church.
