Glenn E. Vinson

June 10, 1929 — November 5, 2017

Glenn E. Vinson, 88, of Paducah passed away on Thursday November 5, 2017 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Mr. Vinson worked for Illinois Central Railroad for 25 years,and Shelter Insurance for 45 years. He was also a Veteran of World War II.

Glenn was born in Indianapolis, IN. on June 10, 1929 to the late Walter Vinson and Ollie Johnson.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Elizabeth L. Vinson, of Paducah; two sons, Mark (Vicki) Vinson of Hanson, KY.;Michael (Evonda) Vinson of Ledbetter; one brother, Walter (Betty) Vinson of Wisconsin.; three grandchildren, Tee Tommy (Corye) Vinson of Ledbetter, KY. Emily (Grant) Strader of Hanson, KY, and Shelly (Bubby) Burns of Madisonville, KY; five great grandchildren, Luke Vinson, Gracie & Ellie Strader, Addie & Emery Burns.

Funeral services will be 2:00p.m. Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home with Terrell Lee officiating.  Interment to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery on Ledbetter, KY.

Visitation will be 11:00a.m. until funeral hour on Wednesday November 8, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers family request memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society at 3140 Parisa Drive Paducah, KY 42003
