Harlan Lee Styers

Harlan “Lee” Styers, born January 6th, 1934 in Paducah, KY., passed away on Friday, November 17th, 2017 at his home.
Lee served in the United States Navy and was a member of the local VFW Post #1191 in Paducah. He had started several local businesses in the area, including Lee’s Pools. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed fishing and spending the winters in Florida.
Lee is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sheila; his daughter, Melissa O’Bryant & Fiance’ Gary Largent; step daughter, Carrie Edwards, grandchildren, Eric O’Bryant of San Antonio, TX., Scott O’Bryant of Paducah, Kaitlyn Brewer and Laken Edwards of Benton, KY.; brother, Tom Styers of Paducah; sisters, Jeanette Smith of Joplin, MO., Aline Fields of Benton, KY., Jean (Sonny) Hartman of Paducah, and Julie Shelby of Paducah;and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Boone and Marie Styers; one son, David Styers; and brothers, Charles, Henry, and Vade Styers.
Friends may visit the family on Monday, November 20th, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will start at 1pm with Rev. Jim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Kenton Cemetery in Paducah.
