Lucinda W. "Lu Lu" Rudd

Lucinda W. “Lu Lu” Rudd, 76 of Paducah, passed away 9:08 a.m. Monday February 12, 2018 at Baptist Health in Paducah.

Mrs. Rudd attended Stephens and Lambuth Colleges.  She was founder of La Petite Fleur Garden Club of Paducah and active member for over 50 years.  She served as President of the Paducah Charity League.  She worked several years greeting people at Woodhaven as an ambassador of Paducah.    She also spent several years at Talbots assisting many friends.  She enjoyed modeling for several boutique shops in Paducah.  She was a member of First Christian Church, Paducah

Lucinda loved Paducah.  She was born here and attended Tilghman High School where she was a Majorette and met the love of her life, David Rudd.  They celebrated their life together for over 50 years of marriage.

Lucinda had a passion for horses, tennis, antiques, shopping at Talbots and always had a good thing to say about everyone she met and knew.  But her true passion was friends and family.

She is survived by two sons, David D. (Sandy) Rudd, of Nashville, TN., Robert R. (Adrienne) Rudd of Milton, GA.  One sister, Greta (Jim) of Hopkinsville, KY.  Three sisters-in-law; Janey Throgmorton of Paducah; Mary Jo Brown of Dalton, GA.; Loraye Jones of Lexington, KY.

Five grandchildren Robert B. Rudd, Jr.; Brittany Rudd, Alex Rudd, Jacob Rudd, Mary Grace Rudd.

Two nieces; Charlotte Powell; Lucinda Burts. And one nephew Spencer Drury.  And many loving cousins, Janet Corum, Linda Carey, Judy Dye, Phyliss Shelton, Roy “Buddy” Woodall

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Thursday February 15, 2018 at First Christian Church in Paducah.  With the Rev. Linda Creason officiating.   With a memorial visitation starting at 10 a.m.
