Richard "Dick" Benard Friend

Richard “Dick” Friend, 86, of Cadiz, died Sunday afternoon, February 18th, 2018 at his home. Dick was a lifelong active Episcopalian. Dick was General Manager of radio station WKYB, and was later employed by Paducah Power Systems in Public Relations and Sales where he retired after 27 years. Dick was a member of many boards and organizations in the City of Paducah.

Dick is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ruth; three children, Bruce Friend of Lexington, KY., Pamela Fowlkes of Chattanooga, TN., and Roberta Roberts Rhodes of Elizabeth, IND.; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Miles B. and Addie M. Young Friend.

Memorial services will be held at Grace Episcopal Church on Saturday, March 10th, 2018                    starting at 1pm with Father Charles Ulik officiating. Inurnment will follow at Grace Episcopal Church Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Voice for the animals/ Trigg County Animal Shelter in Cadiz, the Cadiz Rotary Club, or Grace Episcopal Church of Paducah.
