Shirley Jean (Cunningham) Gilbert

Shirley Jean Gilbert, 79, of Paducah, died Monday, August 15th, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Paducah. Shirley was a retired Deli Clerk with Super Value Foods of Paducah. She also loved to attend horse racing in the area.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Edward) Lawrence of Reidland; one brother, Roy (Kathi) Cunningham of Jeffersonville, Ind.; one grandson, Brian (Claire) Elder of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, E.J. Gilbert; and her parents, Leroy and Neva Dorris Otey Cunningham.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, August 17th, 2016 at Lindsey Funeral Home from 5pm until 8pm. Funeral services will be on Thursday, August 18th, 2016 starting at 1pm with Rev. Hutch Hutcheson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
