Anthony Vincent Linkens

It is with great sadness that the family of Anthony Vincent Linkens announces his passing on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at the age of 45. Anthony was born on May 14, 1974 and was a loving son, brother, and friend to many.

Anthony was a Technical Instructor at Dell Technologies for 20 years. According to his supervisor, “no instructor had as deep a Storage and SAN skill set. Anthony also possessed an unfailing level of confidence in his ability to teach any topic to any customer.” One of his coworkers said, “Anthony was so much more than a colleague, he was a mentor, and more importantly a friend.”

Anthony would build community wherever he went. He enjoyed Live Action Role Play and will be greatly missed among the LAIRE community in New Jersey. He will also be missed by the Anime Boston staff, after assisting them for nine years. Anthony was an avid Major League Baseball fan, and completed visiting all MLB stadiums in the United States, and some in Japan. He also enjoyed board games, crafting, puzzles, cooking, camping and traveling. Anthony most recently fulfilled his lifelong dream of visiting Greece, accompanied by his fiancee, Anna Tamaoka.

Anthony will be lovingly remembered by his father, Len Linkens, Sr.; mother, Toni Boyle; brother, Lenny Linkens, Jr.; nephews Lenny Linkens, III and Derek Linkens; niece, Rachaelle Linkens; first wife, Jessie Linkens; and hundreds of family members, friends and colleagues.
