David W. Peck

September 17, 1949 — May 8, 2019

David W. Peck, 69, of West Paducah passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 9:31pm at Mercy Health Lourdes in Paducah.

Mr. Peck was a member of Strathmoor Baptist Church in Paducah. He worked for the IL Central Gulf Railroad and retired from Paducah Power System after 25 years of service. He graduated from Heath High School in 1967.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Arlene Austin Peck; one sister, Betty Clayton of Paducah; one niece, Kathy Rutledge of Lexington; and two nephews, Chris Rickman of Lynnville, TN and Cliff Austin of Brookport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Walter Peck and Myrtle Ruark Peck; two infant sisters; his father and mother-in-law, Millard and Mabel Austin; and one brother-in-law, M.C. Austin.

Graveside services will be at 3:30pm on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Maplelawn Park Cemetery with the Rev. Doug Kineman officiating. Burial will follow.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in his honor to the McCracken County Humane Society or the Marshall County Humane Society.
