Dessie (Lynn) Mathis

Dessie Mathis, 85, of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, July 17. 2019 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

Mrs. Mathis was a member of Faith Center Church.

Surviving are her two daughters, Dana (Robert) Gardner of Williamsburg, VA and Diane Mathis of Paducah; four grandchildren, Stephanie Gardner, Lawrence Gardner, Tyler (Lindsey) Webb, McCall (Ryan) Wagner; seven great-grandchildren, Avery Gardner, Myles Gardner, Keaton Owsley, Beau Webb, Addyson Webb, McNally Wagner, Yates Wagner; and her two dogs, Honey and Ozzie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Mathis. Her parents were Kenneth Lynn and Ruthie (Thomasson) Lynn.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. John Aitkin and Alvin Moore officiating. Private family entombment will follow.

Friends may visit the family from 9:00 am to service hour on Saturday at the funeral home.
