Frances Joan (Champy) Holt

Joan Holt, 84, of Kevil passed away on Monday, March 26, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Holt was retired from the Florsheim Shoe Company after 37 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in LaCenter. In her spare time, she loved doing word searches and watching UK Basketball.

Surviving is her husband, Paul Abie Holt of Kevil; two children, Holly (David Damron) Sullivan of Kevil and Darin (Debbie) Holt of Paducah; three brothers, Earl Champy, David Champy, and John (Frances) Champy; eight sisters, Rosemary (C.J.) Stuecker, Frances Goach, Christina (Curtis) Crouch, Mary Lou (Bill) Cain, Liz Littleton, Audrey Jaramillo, Mary Ann (James) Alexander, and Jane (Tom) Flynn; five grandchildren, Blake Tanner, Zach Tanner, Morgan Sullivan, Todd Nutt, and Casey Holt; and two great- grandchildren, Lexie and Alyssa Kaye.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph A. Champy and Annie E. Champy; and one daughter, Paula Kay Tanner; and one grandson, Michael Paul Davis.

Funeral service will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Lindsey Funeral Home with Fr. Stan Puryear officiating.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
