James V. Forehand

James Vernon Forehand, age 64 of Marion, Illinois, passed away at 12:05 am Friday, July 26, 2019.

He was born July 15, 1955 in Savannah, Georgia. He loved traveling to Tybee Island and seeing the ocean. James joined the U.S. Navy in 1979 and was on the USS Arthur W. Radford. He was also stationed at NRRF Kamiseya until 1984.

Mr. Forehand is survived by his son, Lanny D. (Courtney) Anderson of Mayfield; seven grandchildren, Cadyence (Cady), Connor, Christopher, Britne (Brit), Gannon (Gan Man), Zayden (Z-Man), and Keegan. He is also survived by a niece, Melissa (Michael) Sims, and a nephew, Andrew (Andy) Smith.

Mr. Forehand was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon C. and Helen E. Forehand; his sister Mary E. (Beth) Smith; and brother-in-law Johnathan (Barry) Smith.
