Joan Maria (Williams) Reichard

Joan “Nanny” Reichard, 62, of Hardin, died Friday, August 3rd, 2018 at Baptist Health of Paducah. Joan was for many years a co leader in the Girl Scouts, and a mascot for Girls slow pitch softball league in Marshall County.

Joan is survived by her life partner, Larry “Poppy” Samuel of Hardin; one daughter, Jeanine Sparks of Benton; three grandchildren, Larry Sparks of Oak Forest, IL., Jaimie Brooks of Benton, and Shelby Scott of Paris, TN.; five great grandchildren, Jessie Sparks, Hadley Edwards, Kynlee Henson, Samuel Brooks, and Emma Scott.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Margaret Walker Williams; and two brothers, Jack and Jerry Williams.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Lindsey Funeral Home of Paducah is in charge of arrangements.
