Joseph R. Hayden

Joseph R. Hayden, 78, of Paducah passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

Mr. Hayden was retired from the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. He was a member of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. In his spare time, he was an avid fan of girls softball, baseball, golf, and nascar.

Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Marilyn Skees Hayden; four children, Tony (Michelle) Hayden of Paducah, Tracy (Randy) Crawford of Paducah, Tamara (Kenneth) Vogler of Bowling Green, and Todd Hayden of Paducah; three brothers, Larry (Sheryl) Hayden, Buck (Eva) Hayden, and Jim (Glenna) Hayden all of Paducah; six grandchildren, Aaron Bryant, Alexander Bryant, Courtney Hayden, Heather Hayden Arant, Nicholas Vogler, and Nathaniel Vogler; and four great-grandchildren, Hank, Birdie, Fern, and Gwendolyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Catherine Hayden; one son, Terry Dean Hayden, one granddaughter, Ashlee Hayden; one brother, Johnny Hayden; and one sister, Stella Nelson.

Funeral Mass will be at 12:00pm on Friday, August 4, 2017 at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church with Fr. Bruce McCarty and Fr. Anthoni Ottagan officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 5:30pm- 8:00pm on Thursday at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church. Prayers will be at 7:00pm.

Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the building fund at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church or St. Pius X Catholic Church.
