Lee "Pee Wee" McCandless

Lee “Pee Wee” McCandless, 57 of Metropolis, passed away 7 a.m. Tuesday September 26, 2017 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Center in Paducah.
He is survived by one brother Roger (Lois) McCandless of Metropolis; two sisters, Ella Faye (Gary) Cameron of Metropolis and Kay Dunn of West Paducah; several nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews; and several great – great nieces and nephews. Mr. McCandless is also survived by his companion and caregiver, Rick Thomasson of Metropolis; and his guard dog Angel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carnie and Ella McCandless, one brother, Carnie McCandless Jr.; one sister Paula White and step-daughter, Millie Hobbs.
Visitation will be from 5:00pm. to 8:00pm on Thursday September 28, 2017 at Lindsey Funeral Home. Dr. Jerry Ford will be having prayers and words of comfort at 7:00 p.m.
