Mildred Marie (Travelstead) Wright

Mildred Marie Wright, 86, of Paducah passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Mrs. Wright was born to the late William Herman and Betty Lou Travelstead on August 5, 1931. Her unwavering faith in God, strong will to live, and love for her family defined her life.

Surviving is her son, James William Wright and wife Sheri Thornton of Paducah; two sisters, Dorothy Robinson of Calvert City and Shirleene Flynn and husband Harold Jr. of Phoenix, Arizona; two granddaughters, Bethany Wright Edwards and husband Aaron, Kathryn Wright Thomas and husband Nathan; six great-grandchildren, AnnaClaire Marie Edwards, Emerson Kay Edwards, Palmer Lou Edwards, Hastings Marie Thomas, William Wright Thomas, and Clayton Patrick Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Wright Sr.; and one son, Wilburn “Wilbur” Wright Jr.

Graveside services will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Palestine Cemetery located at 8199 Ogden Landing Road West Paducah, KY.

Friends may visit the family from 10:30am to the service hour on Wednesday at the cemetery.
