Rickey Dean Evans

Rickey Dean Evans, 61, of Paducah passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Evans was a 1976 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. He was a retired truck driver, formerly worked in the security industry, and formerly worked for the City of Paducah. He also formerly attended Northside United Methodist Church.

Surviving is his daughter, Rebecca Evans of Princeton; his mother and stepfather, Martha Stone (Kenneth) Hughes of Paducah; two aunts, Joyce Stone Irby of Owensboro and Edwinta (Howard) Lowry of Ripley, TN; great-aunts, Virginia Henley Bryan of Paducah and Alma Henley (Orlis) Harris of Metropolis, IL; great-uncles, Lindy (Louise) Henley of Clinton and Jack Henley of Paducah; cousins, Rhonda Graves of Ripley, TN, Linda Arwood of Tazewell, TN, Houston (Elizabeth) Irby of Hillsboro, OR, and Mark (Barbi) Irby of Philpot, KY; and several other cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Dean (Buddy) Evans; maternal grandparents, Imogene Henley Stone and Edward Stone; paternal grandparents, Dean and Edward Evans; aunt, Joann Evans Mathis; uncles, Bill Nelson and John Houston (Sonny) Irby III.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Lindsey Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Beal officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Columbus, KY.

Friends may visit the family from 11:00am to service hour on Thursday at the funeral home.
