Stuart Lee Mitchell

Stuart “Stu” Mitchell, 67 of Paducah, formerly of Lexington, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 3, 2018 with his family in attendance.

Stu was a retired restaurant manager. He loved his family and continually entertained them with stories and jokes.

His family very much appreciates his loving aides, who cared for him until the end.

Surviving are his daughter, Dawn (Chris) Mallory of Paducah and one granddaughter, Kaelin Mallory of Paducah; as well as numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Dura Jean Crawford.  His parents were Elymus and Helen Mitchell.

Memorial Services will be Friday, August 10 , 2018 at 3:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home, with the Rev. Shane Yancey officiating.  Visitation will be 1:00 until 3:00 Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Christian Academy Sports Department at 110 Lebanon Church Road,  Paducah, KY 42003
