Curtis Fred Jackson

Curtis Fred Jackson, 79, of Metropolis passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Mercy-Health Lourdes in Paducah. 

Curtis retired after 35 years of services as an X-Ray Technician from Western Baptist Hospital In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his three children, Dr. April Jackson of Metropolis, Todd Jackson of Kevil., Jason Jackson of Columbia, IL; one brother, John (Norma) Jackson of Chesterton, IN, four grandchildren, Sophia, Natalie, Gabriel, and Julianne. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnne Bremer Jackson; his parents, George Jackson and Love Meek Jackson; and one brother, Richard Jackson. 

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
