Dean C. Sexton

Dean C. Sexton, 62, of Metropolis, died on Early Friday morning, December 16th, 2022 at Metropolis Nursing and Rehab Center in Metropolis. Dean was a lifelong Construction worker who could build anything. He enjoyed building muscle cars, raising his horses, and watching westerns on the television. Dean was of the Pentecostal faith. Dean is survived by his son, Nick of Metropolis; two daughters, Samantha Pannell of Dixon, Ky. And Marissa Pannell of Paducah; his mother, Barabara (Roy) Rushing of Metropolis; three brothers, Vance Sexton of Metropolis, Devin (Trisha) Sexton of Metropolis, and Duncan Sexton of Metropolis; three sisters, Danita (David) Christian of Metropolis, Nisha (Tommy) Burkhart of Symsonia, and Missy Bowman of Paducah; four grandchildren, Riley Pannell, Natalie Harris, Iris Harris, and Arlie Piper; long time companion Meri Baker; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Deon Sexton; and one daughter, Miranda Kay Sexton. A Family Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
