Debra Lynn Owings

Debra Schwicho Owings, 62, passed away on July 5th, 2024 in Paducah, KY.

Debra was born on February 13th, 1962 in Indianapolis, IN. She grew up in Greenwood, IN then graduated from Indiana University with a degree in English and from Arizona State University with a Master of Education in Learning Design and Technologies.

Debra was known for her kindness, quick wit and generous spirit. These qualities served her well personally and professionally as a trainer for Solera and freelance instructional designer.

Debra is survived by her husband, Michael Owings and her stepson, Alex Owings. She is preceded in death by her father, Arvin H. Schwicho, and her mother, Audrey M. Schwicho.

A memorial visitation will be held on July 10th, 2024 at 5 PM to 7 PM at the Lindsey Funeral Home in Paducah. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association in her memory.
