Dewey Moore

Dewey G. Moore, 75, of Marion, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Dewey worked as a truck driver for Wonder Bread before he retired and was a teamster for Local 688 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was an avid sports fanatic who enjoyed watching college and professional sports, especially football. Dewey was a kind, generous man who would do anything he could to help. He was very artistic and enjoyed woodworking. Dewey was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Dewey is survived by his daughter, Angela (Michael) Fleming; two grandchildren, Diane N. (Brian) Hall and Cody (Michelle) Fleming; four great-grandchildren, Dallas and Chance Hall and Weston and Wyatt Fleming; two siblings, Cheryl Moore Wente and Gary L. (Romona) Moore; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Dewey in death is his first wife, Joyce Diane Kee Moore; his fourth wife, Jeanie Moore; his parents, Rubin and Monon Moore; one stepdaughter, Dawn; two siblings, Lora Moore Fisher and Rubin Moore Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Robert Wente.

A memorial service for Dewey will be held at a later date.
