Donetta Sue (Waddy) Simmons

Donetta Sue Simmons, 74, of Smithland passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Crittenden County Health & Rehab.

Donetta was a homemaker and member of Salt & Light Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and crafting.

Surviving is her husband of 56 years, Larry Simmons of Smithland; two children, Shane Simmons of Texas and Teah Dedmon of Smithland; one brother, Lonnie Joe Waddy of Reidland; and three grandchildren, Lucas Simmons, Ivy Simmons, and Gage Dedmon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Maida Waddy.

Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Ledbetter with the Rev. Jeff Russell officiating. Burial will follow.
