Edward S. Helpa, 98, Paducah, KY formerly of Sayreville, NJ passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Calvert City Convalescent Center.

Edward was retired from Hercules Inc. where he was a lab technician. He was a member of the St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church, American Legion, VFW, and Disabled Veterans. He was on the USS Montpelier during WW2 while serving his country.

Surviving is his daughter, Nora (Bill) Jensen of Paducah; two grandchildren, Cassandra (Michael) Driver of Mt. Juliet, TN and Christopher Jensen of Paducah; and two great-grandchildren, Marek Driver and Holden Driver both of Mt. Juliet, TN.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Perrine Helpa; his parents, Joseph and Josephine Helpa; and three brothers.

He will be cremated per his wishes and entombment will take place at B.G. William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ at a later date.
