Emma Lou Bearden

Emma Lou Bearden, 72, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab.

Emma graduated from Draughon’s Business College and began working in the accounting field. She started her career at Dr. Sachs’ office. Emma retired as the accounting manager at Baptist Health. In her free time, she could be found reading or watching her daily game shows. Emma had a loving and giving heart. She always enjoyed being around kids and animals, especially her dogs. Emma was of the Baptist faith.

Emma is survived by her son, Jedediah Ray Bearden; two brothers, Walter (Diane) Bloomingburg and Lonnie (Stacy) Bloomingburg; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her dearly.

Preceding Emma in death is her husband, Paul Thomas Bearden, and her parents, Merle and Etna Bloomingburg.

A memorial service for Emma will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family from 11:00 am to service hour at the funeral home.
