Frank Eugene Baggett

Franklin Eugene Baggett, 87, of Paducah passed away peacefully on October 20, 2022 with his family at his side.

Frank was born on February 9, 1935 in Graham, KY, one of 10 children born to Johnnie and Lyman Baggett. After graduating from Paducah Tilghman High School in 1953, Frank joined the Marine Corp and served for 4 years. He attended Paducah Community College and Murray State University and retired from USEC in 1996 after 39 years of service.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, June (Bennett) Baggett, his children Leigh Ann (Baggett) Long (Bobby), Bret Baggett (Gail), a twin sister Lois Dean (Baggett) Peniche; a brother Wallace Baggett (Regena); and one step granddaughter, Michelle Portis.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, 6 brothers (Tom, James D., Bill, Bob, John and Ralph) and sister (Virginia Kok).

He will be cremated and no services are planned.
