George Mahmet

George Mahmet, 69, of Paducah, passed away Friday, December 24, 2021 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

George was a roofer for many years. He had a creative mind, whether it was telling stories or drawing. George always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He had a heart for animals, especially dogs.

George is survived by five siblings, Marilyn (Randy) Jones, Doug Mahmet, James (Dawn) Mahmet, Richard (Karen) Mahmet, and Terry (Vicky) McKenty; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding George in death are his parents, George and Martha Mahmet; and three siblings, Jerry McKenty, Larry McKenty, and Cindy Mahmet.

A memorial service for George will be held at a later date.
