George Youngblood

George Edward Youngblood, 68, of Paducah died at 5 a.m. Saturday at his home.

A U.S. Air Force veteran, Mr. Youngblood was a retired railroad machinist with VMV Railroads. He was a member of Heartland Baptist Church.

Surviving are his mother, Mary Hammonds Youngblood; two sons, Edward Van Youngblood of Kevil and Dewayne Lee Youngblood of Lawton, Okla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Youngblood, and his wife, Nancy Stone Youngblood.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Lindsey Funeral Home with Larry Davidson officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
