Jack Ritchie

Clarence L. “Jack” Ritchie Jr., 86, of Paducah, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Parkview Nursing and Rehab.

Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force where he worked on the missiles program. Later in life, he retired as a chemical operator. After his retirement, he spent as much time as he could golfing. Jack was of the Baptist faith.

Jack is survived by his wife of 45 years, Cheryl Ritchie; two stepchildren, Dana Edwards and David (Marcie) Earles; one sister, Sharon Jones; three grandchildren, Daniel Ritchie, Michael Ritchie, and Holli Dougard; two step grandchildren, Caitlin (Jason) Walters and Ashley Edwards; four great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.

Preceding Jack in death are two sons, Jan Linn Ritchie and Price Linn Ritchie; his parents, Clarence Sr. and Juanita Ritchie; two brothers, and one sister.

A memorial service for Jack will be held at a later date.
