James L. Alexander

James L. Alexander, 80, of Paducah passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023, at River Haven Nursing Home in Paducah.

He was a retired truck driver and welder. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He enjoyed collecting coins and spending time with his family, especially the grandbabies.

Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Mary Ann Alexander of Paducah; six children, Sherry Washburn of California, Betty Willett of Paducah, Jenny Kennemore of Hickory, Rebecca Stacks of Symsonia, Treva Alexander of Altamont, IL, Lindsey Dowdy of Paducah; two siblings, Royce Alexander and Larry Ellis; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Armour Alexander and Lillian Ellis; and one brother, Jerry Ellis.

Graveside services will be at 1:00pm on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
