James Lucky Booten, 55, of Paducah, died Sunday morning, January 30th, 2022 at Lourdes Hospital of Paducah.

James was a lifelong Union Carpenter in the area. He was an avid gun owner who loved to cook for everyone and every occasion. James especially enjoyed spending time with his friends at KC’s Bar in Paducah.

James is survived by one son, Seth Ryan Booten of Paducah; one sister, Christene Sumner of Hinkley, IL.; one brother, Jeffery Booten of Rockford, IL.; his parents, William Booten and Emilie Wiese Booten of Sandwich, IL.; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one son, James Booten Jr.; and one daughter, Samantha Rose Booten.

A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
