James Erick Cook

Jim Cook, 75, of Paducah passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, in Benton, KY while doing what he loved.

He was the longtime owner/operator of River City Veneer.  He enjoyed hunting of all kinds, fishing, and woodworking.  He was a member of Quail Unlimited.  Jim enjoyed spending time with his grandson Greg.

Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Mary Sue Cook of Paducah; his son, James F (Gloria) Cook of TN; one sister, Cathie Cook of IN; one grandson, James Gregory Cook of Paducah; and one son-in-law, James Sidoti of NY; and his dog and special friend, Hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Margie Cook; his daughter, Jennifer Sidoti; and his sister, Brenda Woodward.

He will be cremated per his wishes.
