James Edward Farmer

James “Little James” Farmer, 49, of Tamms, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at his mother’s home.

James was a loving father, son, and brother. He loved to be outdoors fishing with friends and family. James loved to eat all kinds of food.

James is survived by his three sons, Daniel Farmer, Ethan Farmer, and Jacob Farmer; a daughter and the apple of his eye, Lylah Farmer; Grace Ford; his mom and pops, Opal and Steve Castleman; five siblings, Bobby (Audrey) Farmer, Mary Jane (Alan) Sullivan, Kathy Riley, Kathleen (Doug) Parham, and Susie Farmer; thirteen nieces and nephews, Emerald (Brenden) Pasterski, Elijah (Alexis) Farmer, Savannah (Darren) Cole, Elizabeth (Seth Sharp) Farmer, Sadies Farmer, Lezli Farmer, Alex Farmer, Joey Sullivan, Anthony Sullivan, Joplin Riley, Sophia Riley, Tapainga Sellers, and Paris Riley; and several great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Preceding James in death is his father, James Oscar Farmer, two brothers, Scott Farmer and Eric Farmer, one great-niece, Amelia Corley; and several aunts and uncles.

A funeral service for James will be held Sunday, August 27, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home with cremation to follow. Friends may visit the family from 1:00 pm to service hour.
