Johnny Raffidy

Beloved husband, father, and grandfather Johnny Raffidy passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 81 years old.

Mr. Raffidy retired from Hannah Supply Co. of Paducah. He was a long time member of Friendship Baptist Church. Johnny loved music at an early age and enjoyed playing in the band WKYB Rockets with his dad. He continued playing his guitar and singing in his church and nursing home in the Paducah area.

Johnny is survived by his wife of 64 years, Georgia Flynn Raffidy; one daughter, Kristi (Chris) Oldham of Paducah; one son, Terry (Heather) Raffidy of Paducah; one sister, Joan (Jimmy) Chambers of Paducah; one niece, Jo Beth (Dennis) Appleton of Calvert City; three grandchildren, Jody Raffidy, Emmalee Walker, and Christian Simmons.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Raffidy and Emma Raffidy York; one son, Jeffery Raffidy; and stepfather J.R. York.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Lindsey Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Browning officiating.
