Katherine Louise James

Katherine Louise (Gannon) James, age 72 of Lincoln Illinois, passed away on June 21, 2024, in Baptist Hospital Paducah, KY. 

Celebration of life will be on Sunday June 30, 2024, at the Eagles Lodge in Lincoln, IL from 1-4pm. Please stop by and share your stories of the life of Kathy James.

Kathy James was born in Gilbert, West Virginia to Kenneth and Eloise (Nester) Gannon on November 3, 1951. She retired from the state of Illinois Department of Revenue. She was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. She was also a long-standing member of the American Legion and Lincolnite Aries Auxiliary #2708, where she served as president and treasurer. 

Kathy is proceeded in death by Kenneth Gannon (father), Eloise (Nester) Gannon (mother), Harold Roos (step-father), and Trapper (fur baby). 

Kathy is survived by her son John (Maribeth) Black of Vienna, IL; her siblings: Kenneth (Lita) Gannon, Margaret Frakes, Threasea (Ronnie) McEntire, Minnie (Robbie) Hedrick, Keith (Keena) Roos;sister in love Gina (David) Locke all of Lincoln, IL; her grandchildren: Jeremy (Whitney) Henrichsmeyer of Tucson, AZ, Rebecca Henrichsmeyer, of Paducah, KY, Ben Ethridge, Zach Hicks of Vienna, IL; 4 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephew, great nieces, and great nephews all of Lincoln, IL.
