Kathleen Baker

Kathleen “Kathy/KC” Baker, 78, of Paducah, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2024 at her home.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a fierce lady who always stood up for those who needed it. She would give them anything she could to help someone out. Kathy was a socialite and always the life of the party. In her younger days, she was an avid bowler, almost going pro. Later in life she traded her bowling pawl in for a pool cue. She loved to read and collect Asian artifacts. Kathy enjoyed spending time in nature, from camping to fishing. She was also a devout Catholic.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 46 years, Charles Baker; two children, John Hunt and Danie Baker; three grandchildren, Shane (Elizabeth) Fletcher, Cassandra Rodriguez, and Ashley Ochwat; one great-grandson, River Fletcher; one nephew, Jimmy Hiler; and two nieces, Katie O’Donnell and Joanie O’Donnell.

Preceding Kathy in death are her parents; one daughter, Bonnie Kay Hunt; and one brother, Patrick O’Donnell.

Per her wishes, Kathy will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
