Louis C. McDonald

Louis C. McDonald, 82, of Paducah, passed away June 25, 2024 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Louis was a backhoe operator for Paducah Water and a member of the Local 181 Operators Union in Paducah. He loved being on the backhoe and operating heavy equipment. Louis was an avid NASCAR fan and fast cars. In his younger years, he raced go carts.

Louis is survived by two children, Todd McDonald and Crystal McDonald Vannerson; two grandchildren, Hali Sparks and Connor Vannerson; and one great-grandson, Phoenix Sparks.

Preceding Louis in death is his wife, Pat McDonald, and his parents, Clyde and Trixie McDonald.

A funeral service for Louis will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow at Fooks Cemetery.

Friends may visit the family from 12:00 pm to service hour on Friday.
