On June 12, 2009 God called home loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Mary S. Green, 83, to be with Him.
Mary is survived by her children, Donna and husband Paul Cornwell, Dennis Green, Randall and wife Janet Green, Gary and wife Cheryl Green and Kathy and husband Tim Howdieshell. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Brandi.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Wallace Howard Green and her brother, Arthur Louis Smith.
Mary originated from Hickman County, Ky., and has resided in West Paducah for the last 48 years of her life.
Mary was a retired employee from Florsheim Shoes in Paducah, where she worked for 20 years.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2009, at Lindsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Little Obion Cemetery in Graves County with graveside services.
Visitation is set for 5 to 8 p.m. today, June 14, 2009, and noon to 2 p.m. Monday, June 15, 2009 at the funeral home.
