Mike Collins

Michael “Mike” Collins, 59, of Calvert City, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Baptist Health in Paducah.

Mike worked at Ingram as a senior mate and loved being on the river. He was a fun spirited, social man who could bring smiles into the room with his quick wit and personality. In his free time, he enjoyed coin collecting and hunting for arrowheads.

Mike is survived by his children, Bobby Collins and Rochelle Collins; one granddaughter, Marley Wojtkowski; his fiancée, Darlene Freeman; his mother, Sylvia Collins; five siblings, Danny, Elena, Rosemary, Martha, and David Collins; Vikki Collins, Brianna Martin, and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Mike in death is one daughter, Shantell Collins; his father, Ernest Collins; his maternal grandmother, Nana Gibbons; and two brothers, Ernie and Edward.

A visitation for Mike will be held Monday, July 10, 2023 at 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home.
