Barkley Allen Johnson, 92, of Paducah, died Friday, November 7, 2008 at 12:09 pm at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Paducah. He was the retired owner of B & V's restaurant.
Mr. Johnson was a secretary of Elk's B.P.O. #217 of Paducah for over 40 years, a secretary of Broadway United Methodist Church of Paducah, and a Graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his niece, Nancy Guess, nephews Bill and Jim Wilkins, his loving care-takers, Carol Schnuck and her daughters, and the many friends of Elk's B.P.O. #217.
He was predeceased by his loving wife Lillian Johnson; parents Virgil Allen Johnson and Laura Love Rodgers-Johnson; brother John Rodgers; sisters Maureen Hogwood, Virginia Wilkins, Nell Johnson, Margeret Sloan, and Elizabeth Balinski; sister-in-law Jennette Skipworth; and nephews Donald Sloan and Pat Sloan.
Memorial Services will take place 7:00 pm, Monday November 17, 2008 at the Elk's Lodge #217 310 North Fourth Street Paducah, KY 42001. Visitation is set for 2:00 pm, Monday, November 17, 2008 at the Elk's.
