Nancy Jane (Glisson) Cohoon

Nancy Jane Glisson Cohoon, 74, of Water Valley, was called home to receive her heavenly reward with her Saviour Jesus on Monday afternoon, June 19th, 2023 at her home.

Nancy was a lifelong homemaker who was a devout lover of her cats and most any other cats that might be in the neighborhood. Nancy was of the Baptist faith. Nancy is survived by four sisters, Judy (Stan) Patterson of Wingo, Alice Colley of Melber, Paula Dunbaugh of Paducah, and Debbie (Tim) Burns of Paris, TN.; one brother, Charles Glisson of Paducah; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cohoon; her parents, Will Ed Glisson and Hilda Blalock Glisson; one sister, Brenda Brown; and two brothers, Sonny and Eddie Glisson.

The family would like to thank the Lourdes Hospice program and especially its nursing staff for all their love and care during Nancy’s illness.

Private family graveside services will be held at a later date at Pottsville Church of Christ Cemetery.
