Phyllis Marie Gibson

Phyllis Gibson, 68, of Paducah, formerly of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Phyllis worked for a number of years selling insurance. She later retired and had her dream job of being a stay-at-home grandma. Her family was always her number one priority and she always made sure to spend all the time with them as she could. She could light up a room with her sense of humor and never met a stranger.

Phyllis is survived by two children, Denise Bush and Bobby (Kristie) McKinney; two siblings, Diane (Rocky) Egner and Mike (Lisa) Trett; nine grandchildren, Ashley Bush, Alexis (Blake) Smith, Kylee McKinney, Khloe McKinney, Zachary McKinney, Jackson McKinney, Hayley Lovett, Morgan Steele, and Seth Lovett; and six great-grandchildren, Tucker Smith, Hadley Smith, Kaine Smith, Riley McKinney, Baylor McKinney, and Lakyn McKinney.

Preceding Phyllis in death is her husband, Aaron Gibson; her parents, Albert and Billie Trett; and her favorite dog, OuiOui.

Per her wishes, no services are scheduled.
