Robert Lynn Purcell

Robert Lynn Purcell, 62, of Boaz died Monday at Lourdes Hospital.

Mr. Purcell was a member of St. Francis de Sales Church and a member of Carpenters Local 357.

Surviving are his wife, Sonja Purcell; his mother, Louise Purcell of Paducah; two sons, Randy Purcell of Nashville and Robert Purcell of Boaz; one daughter, Marianne Purcell of Nashville; one brother John Purcell of Bowling Green; three sisters, Judy Beard of Hickory, Nancy Vaughn and Peggy Trover, both of Paducah; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Barney Purcell; one daughter, Telina Hoffman; and one brother Larry Purcell.

A midday funeral mass will be at 12:00 pm Friday at St. Francis de Sales Church. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5pm to 8pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
