Shirley Kaye

Shirley “Kay” Kaye, 88, of Paducah, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at Countryside Nursing and Rehab in Bardwell, Kentucky.

Kay worked retail for a number of years before retiring. She enjoyed needlework in her free time when she wasn’t traveling to new locations. Kay always had good times wherever she went and could proudly state that she had lived her life to the fullest.

Kay is survived by three sons, Richard (Elaine) Kaye of Venice, Florida, Thomas Kaye of Paducah, Kentucky, and Drew (Kerri) Kaye of Spring Hill, Florida; one sister, Bev Ottinger of Attica, Indiana; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding Kay in death are her parents, Leonard and Nila June Hildenbrand, and one sister, Pat Hildenbrand.

A memorial service for Kay will be held at a later date.
