Shirley Edwards Mathis

Shirley Edwards Mathis, age 87 of Reidland, passed away on April 15th, 2022, at Parkview Nursing and Rehab in Paducah, KY. Shirley was a member of Rosebower Baptist Church.

Shirley is survived by her sister, Yvonne Edwards Truitt of Paducah, KY, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Onie Leon Mathis; her son, Mark Leon Mathis; her parents, Henry and Mary Edwards; seven sisters, Mable Phelps, Katie Rudolph, Pauline Edwards, Lois Grace, Robbie Jones, Martha Grogan, and Patsy Higgins; four brothers, Paul Edwards, Steve Edwards, Gene Edwards, and Glen Edwards; and five nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 25th, 2022, at Rosebower Baptist Cemetery at 12:00 PM. Rev. Kenneth Puckett will be officiating the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Rosebower Baptist Cemetery. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation.
