Obituary
Don Gay, 75, of Brookport, Il., entered into rest on Wednesday, September 6th, 2023 at Baptist Health of Paducah.
Don was a 20 year retired US Army veteran as well as being retired from Shawnee Correctional Institution. Don was also a member of the Jeep Club of Paducah.
Don is survived by his loving companion and wife of 34 years, Teresa; two children, Cathy Arbeiter of Vienna, and Sara King of Marion, Il.; five siblings, Joyce Adams, Carol Cunningham, Harold Gay, Marion Henry and Terry Odem;and five grandchildren, Ava, Alaina, and Aiden Cladis, and Madison and Andrew King.
He was preceded by his parents, Donald Gay and Helen Lorraine Lincoln Roberts Gay; and three siblings, Maurine Glascock, Marie Brown, and Linda Davidson.
Friends may visit the family on Tuesday September 12th, 2023 at Lindsey Funeral Home from 10am until procession time. Military rites will be performed at graveside following visitation at Mounds National Veterans Cemetery in Mounds, Il. Starting at 1pm.
